Has anyone got SHOGO to be fullscreen and run more than 15 FPS on Windows 10? I just want to give up and buy Galak-Z for my anime robot action instead.

jpeppe: use dgvoodoo wrapper: http://dege.freeweb.hu/
how do you use it? are there instructions anywhere?

Edit: I figured it out myself. Just download the thing and place the following files:
- the DLL files inside the MS folder
- dgVodooSetup.exe
in the Shogo Game folder (at root level).

Start the game, a launcher will come up, click on display, select:

Renderer: Lithtech Direct3D Renderer (d3d.ren)
Display: dgVoodoo DIrectX Wrapper
Resolution: Whichever you'd like, I used 1920x1080x16 without any problem.

The game runs at fullscreen and no slowing problems.

Try using the built-in software render instead of the D3D.
So that dgvoodoo wraper works? I'm running Win 10 and this game runs in a window w/ slow fps. I tried running it in software and although the FPS is much better it still runs in a window...

Yup! I just tried it and it works flawlessly. Just remember that you move the dgvoodoo files that are INSIDE the MS folder into \GalaxyClient\Games\Shogo (the SHOGO root folder), rather than the MS folder itself.

Can't get this to work. I'm having the same problem as others; running Win10, only runs in window mode and very slow. I put the files that are in the MS folder into the Shogo directory but when I click on display, it tells me no renderers were found.

Did you configured with dgVoodooSetup.exe?
Yes, although I'm not sure exactly what settings to use. The problem is the game doesn't think I have any kind of video card at all.
I just remembered that DgVoodoo2 requires at least an Dx10.1 capable graphic card. So, which is yours?
And you could try the older Dgvoodoo, too, is the problem is the graphic card.

Hello

I am old (44) and not used to forums.

I have W 7 after coming back from the dark side of W 10

I loved SHOGO and I have been playing battlefield 1942 and UT (torn) with my son and he asked me about my other favorite games, they were SHOGO and also Battle Zone.

Can someone please tell me where I can download SHOGO safely?

I am in Melbourne Australia, so if there is someone local who can also guide me through what I need to do to get it running, it would be great.

@Uncle_Morbid Buy Shogo here on GOG.
1 - To run without graphic issues: http://dege.freeweb.hu/ (Requires at least an DX10 Graphic Card.)
2 - Widescreen: http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=27095
