I wasn't able to get the game to run on Windows 10 as it crashes right after the splash screen, but more importantly, GOG Galaxy now won't run anymore and the game messed up my system font settings where they were either replaced or the anti-aliasing is seemingly turned off (see attachments). So not only do I not get to play the game at all, now I can't use GOG Galaxy and my Windows looks really ugly...
Did anyone encounter the same thing and if so, how can I solve the issue? I tried restoring the original font settings in Windows, but it seems to think that there has been no change.

EDIT: turns out I had to disable and enable font autoaliasing in Advanced Settings, after which the font issue disappeared. GOG Galaxy still won't run though.

The exact same thing happened to me..The launcher just wouldn't start and gog galaxy crashed. My entire PC font became almost unreadable exactly the same way you've shown. I had to go and re calibrate my font settings in the windows control panel. Also, what is this font anti aliasing you said? Is it specific to a graphics control panel or a basic windows setting?
I had to run cttune.exe and click through it and it seemed to resolve the problem for me. Had exactly the same issue. I couldn't find the antialiasing settings.
Until the game is properly closed (alt-tabbed for example) your windows fonts will be un-smoothed as in game. Normally it is supposed to revert back.
I was finally able to run this game with no 3d sound, TNT option for graphic card, Enable single-pass multi-texturing and setting the same resolution for all modes (software and hardware). Enable poly-gap fixing making picture slightly smoothed, but it lags a bit.
Note: I choosed 1920x1024 in launcher, but max res in game was 1360x768.
