Overall the iIxupi are quite fast in this version but no matter what I do I cannot seem to capture the cloth ixupi. You see a flash of the creature and it makes a noise and then steals the pot away (I played the old version ages ago and I know they're suppose to gather and pounce and give quite a bit of time to catch them, but it just loads too fast). I saved right before the spot so that I could try again and again, seeing if being quicker on the draw could help but it just loads too fast to succeed. I'm having trouble figuring out how to fix it, or get around it. I tried the instructions in the troubleshooting but that seemed to be a dead end.

This is a common issue when this game runs with a modern processor - even with a virtual machine. The only thing I've been able to do is grab the pot as fast as possible once in position.

They don't "pounce" until you face the spot they are in, even if right next to them.....so approach them and look away/in another direction, ready the pot, then turn back to face where they are at and click on them once you see the glowy stuff.
