I just started playing Shadow's Awakening, and it looks great!! But two problems so far - first, when I save my game, I put in my character name and click on "Accept". But when I access my saved games, the save file I just made is not listed. Also, when I am on the main title screen and try to load my auto-saved file, the game starts to load but nothing happens. I waited for a couple minutes but got nothing. The same deal for going from in-game to the title screen - the game begins to load but nothing happens. Can someone help me?

Try checking if the save file actually gets created once you save in-game.

The default path is on the C drive User/AppData/LocalLow/Games Farm/Shadows_ Awakening/saves

If there are files there, are you the admin user on the PC? Might be because the game does not have permission to access the C drive or something like that. Try launching the game as admin and see if that helps.

1) Proszę przeinstaluj grę, a następnie dodaj ją do wyjątków programu antywirusowego i zapory ogniowej. Jeżeli używasz GALAXY, to również dodaj GALAXY do wyjątków.
Proszę spróbuj zainstalować grę na dysku C:\ ale poza folderami Program Files oraz Program Files(x86).
Upewnij się, że zainstalowałeś grę na lokalizacji o w miarę krótkiej nazwie:
C:\GOG lub C:\Games

2) Jako, że Twoja aktualna wersja DirectX mogła ulec uszkodzeniu, proszę zainstaluj wersję czerwcową 2010 DirectX:
http://files.gog.com/support/Directx_Jun2010_redist.exe
Proszę rozpakuj DirectX do dowolnego folderu. Następnie wejdź do tego folderu. Powinien znajdować się w nim plik "setup.exe." prosze zainstaluj DirectX za jego pomocą.

After that turn off the PC and restart it.
