Had it installed via lutris. had terrible graphic errors (in combat only small strips of the ions like burst ivisble. character pictures blank)
but hey, this game has linux native files right? had to reinstall linux anyway so clean build. downloaded the offline installer from gog.
managed to start the installer. tried to start game
error 134. spent 10 minutes trying to figure out what that mean since trying to start from desktop icon did nothing but open and close a window.
15 minutes later found out it doesn'T work that way since the installer is unable to make correct desktop starter. start manually in game directory
error 127.

tried for an hour to get the game running without graphic bugs then trying to run at all with linux version
in the end, it was quicker to wipe linux and buy and isntall windows. tried linux for 3 months now and i'm cured.

it LOOKS good and modern but being expected to learn dozens of commands and trouble shooting and then still claiming linux is as good as windows... just no. comparing to cars, linux might look like a modern car, but it's just a model T inside the hell of a tesla or honda. still need to adjust manual choke, crank to start, adjust gas flow manually and all that while normal cars just need to tap a start button.
iirc this required 32 bit libs which aren't packed in Ubuntu and any derivatives (such as Mint). You have to run with the command line if a program closes that way, and it would spit that out, or at least, you'd be able to figure out that was the issue. This might not be the specific problem you have, but it's very likely. How would you know this if you were a new user? You probably wouldn't. Linux is generally good but you need to know certain things and be able to troubleshoot and find answers. That isn't necessarily different with Windows either, which has its own problems.

GOG doesn't use them, but native Linux should really be as appimages or at least flathub or some other method, so there are no dependency issues. Proton I believe generally runs better than Lutris (you can use Proton in Lutris actually, but it's probably easier to get it through Steam instead).

It would be nice to have Linux kinks worked out for gaming especially through GOG. Right now it's still easier to use GOG installers on Windows.
