Is there a manual for Shadowrun Dragonfall? I've checked the game dirs; looked for a Start menu shortcut; checked the game download page; and the Harebrained Schemes website. If there is one it is escaping my notice for some reason.

Manual is available in-game - https://steamcommunity.com/app/300550/discussions/0/617320628070370182/
This might help: http://www.gog.com/forum/shadowrun_series/manual_or_user_guide_for_game
Thanks!

I had seen that "in-game" manual - and I thought of it as more of a "Quick Reference" than a "manual"; but I see now that it's really all there is available without going online and looking at wikis, etc.

I was hoping there was something with more details of the mechanics. For example, my Rigger's bots have empty "quickbar" slots - how can they be filled? Or - they can't be filled and the bot always starts with what you see - and the rest of the slots will always be empty for that particular bot? Etc.

I guess the wiki and forum threads are the place to learn about such things. There is no in-depth "manual".

So I marked the "in-game manual" as the solution - because that is basically it - although I was hoping I overlooked something better. :)
I was playing a Rigger too... I don't think it's possible to equip the drones with items. I never checked forums/wikis though. Maybe it's possible somehow.

I was missing an explanation for overwatch in the in-game manual... or more correctly I didn't even know that overwatch exists in the game. I found out by accident how that works (pretty late in the game unfortunately).

btw: Whenever a game is loaded and so on there are tips displayed at the top of the screen. One of those tips claims that one can switch between weapons with F (on the Keyboard). For me that only worked in Shadowrun Return though.

I hope you enjoy Dragonfall! I sure did.

Definitly enjoying it so far (I'm still playing that 1st "berlin" story.

It's been mostly linear so far, but the storytelling is very good; so I don't mind. Also there seems to be a lot of variation in possible battle tactics. I've played some scenes multiple times just to try different approaches.

In some ways the game atmosphere and archtypes reminds me of an old MMO I enjoyed - Neocron (which still looks live - altho I haven't played it in years).

I really like playing a Rigger in it (as I recall they're called "Droners" in Neocron). It also had a similar "matrix" for hackers, with the "bad" AI's and whatnot (and you could also use it to travel around the game world and exit at different "terminals".

I do have some frustrations tho. For example, in the "shops", sometimes the item/weapon descriptions are "cut off" and I can't read all of it. I need to start looking for mods and see if tehre are any UI mods that fix that.

Overall it's a good game; and I can't wait to see where the story goes...
