It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Can we get a new sticky? With new tutorial?
If someone can edit my tutorial to look nicer that will be great.

Alright Some people don't know how to download mods from Steam Workshop.
Here's a tutorial on this.

Get Greasemonkey for Firefox or TamperMonkey for Chrome extensions
Download Script from here and add it to the extension:
https://greasyfork.org/scripts/5729-enhanced-steam-workshop-downloader/code/Enhanced%20Steam%20Workshop%20Downloader.user.js

Go to Stream workshop, find the mod you are looking for click on it. Underneath the gallery there will be a download page.
(Extension might ask permission for the script. Click to allow on all domains)

The file downloaded will be in cpz format. Just open it with your favorite archive, 7zip or WinRAR
Move the folder to {Your Install Dir}\Shadowrun Returns\Shadowrun_Data\StreamingAssets\ContentPacks
Remove any leading number in folder before the text.

You're done.

I second this request - that original sticky thread is now a total mess, mainly because it referenced the web-based downloader tool, which seems to change URLs every now and then. That and people getting confused when attempting to download mods for other games.

While the method above requires more work to set up initially (compared to using one of the SteamWorkshopDownloader websites), once it's installed it's much easier to use since one can then simply download the mod directly from the mod's workshop page.

So no need to copy/paste URLs and no need to visit a separate website (where the URL can change without warning).

I'd only add that if it ever stops working, it could be because Steam has changed something in their API. If this happens, revisit Greasyfork to and check for updates to the extension to fix it. Note that Steam's API has been pretty stable for a while now, so this scenario should be quite rare.

Additionally, the below is what I added to the original sticky - it's worth putting this here too to (hopefully) avoid some of the previous sticky's mess .

Downloading mods for other games:
- This extension can potentially be used for mods for other games; however, this requires that: the workshop for the game is public (i.e. downloading doesn't require you to own the game on Steam).
- Mods for other games may use different file formats or naming conventions (e.g. it may not be a zip file and/or the file name may not end in ".cpz").
- Issues with either accessing or using a game that is NOT one of the Shadowrun Returns series of games should be mentioned in the respective forums for those games.
- As far as I am aware, it is the game publisher on Steam that decides if workshop access is public or not - so contact the relevant publisher for access. Alternatively, download the mods for such games from alternate locations (such as NexusMods); if you cannot find an accessible download for a mod you want, contact the mod author.
