Ok, so I played yesterday, game was having a little trouble loading, later it loaded quickly. Now it loads SUPER SUPER SLOW. The CPU guns to 100% when its in full screen mode load. Any ideas on what it could be? I mean, I can load and play Lord of the Rings Online faster ....

I'm posting my specs her

First point to note is that when the CPU heats up it will automatically throttle the speed to prevent damage. (So if the game was initially swift, but then became sluggish after a quarter of an hour or so, that might be the problem.)

I doubt this is your issue, however, unless you have a crazy resolution (greater than Full HD 1920×1080) beyond the computers functional capacity. You haven't specified what your system's (presumably nVidia) dedicated graphics card is, though an OMEN would undoubtedly have one. (If you don't have one you will need to adjust resolution downwards dramatically.) 16GB RAM would suit a pretty high-end card, like a GTX1070 or better.

Secondly, there are configurable settings within the game itself, for instance, resolution and high definition textures can be adjusted. I have found these games (and all three engines) very stable for a very old laptop (Win-7/32bit on an integrated graphics processor), with all the options set to minimum and a resolution of 640×480.

What resolution have you set? (If you change the pixel volume then you will need exit the game to the menu and restart in order to reboot the configuration; changing settings within the game will keep the most demanding — slowest response — locked on, regardless of current optics.)

Does the game play well in a window? If you enjoy a large desktop (say, 4k resolution) then — unless you have a top-end graphics card — you will have to play the game in a lower resolution, and possibly in a window. I have had no problems playing a full screen session at low resolutions, but perhaps the experience will vary at the top end?

I have experienced crazy overheating from the beginning on my laptop, too. It has only really become bad within Shadowrun Hong Kong. I cannot recall this being an issue with the previous parts of the series. I have also tried turning down the settings to something a laptop can handle, but that did not change much.
I have no such issues with other games that are quite demanding in terms of CPU and GPU power. Really strange.

All three engines (each game: Returns, Dragonfall & Hong Kong) are significantly more complex than the predecessor/s.

The HK engine is a lot more demanding than Dragonfall.

That said, I was able to play it with everything scaled down (until the mission to save Raymond, which requires high-definition textures to be switched on, or else it won't start, but merely hangs on the loading screen). (It would take a more than a minute to load or to save on my old laptop.)
