It's now 7:20 PM EST September 26 here in Melbourne, AUS. I pre-ordered this game yesterday, so I could get it on the release date of September 26th (which is today, coincidentally)..

Can you guys please adjust your site to account for us plebs who live in Australia (southern hemisphere in general)..

Love gog...but if the game says available Sepember 26th...well, that's the fucking day I should be playing it considering I damn well pre-ordered it..

I agree with you mate.
Problem is, apparently the world revolves around the US, so its only september 26th when its the 26th for them.
My guess, the game will unlock here at the same time as the steam version, which is at 6pm GMT.
So you won't be playing the game today unfortunately, gotta wait for tomorrow morning.

On the one hand it's really annoying that september 26th really means september 26th at some other continent.
On the other hand, this does mean the game is available for everyone in the world at the exact same time, none of this tiered release bullshit where the US gets it several days earlier.

Yeah, I didn't mean to sound snarky, but i'm just on an 'entitled gamer' frequency atm..

It's the first time i've pre-orded on gog, simply because I think it's a high quality game, and the discount was too good to turn down..

It'd just be nice if Gog could do what Steam does and say, "hey, yer whiney skippy douchebag!! yr' game unlocks in 12 hours!! Stiff crackers if it's next week in the UK!! Watch on in AWE as the earth slowly rotates!! "

It's not that big of a deal. I'm just psyched for this game....

I agree. I never understood this needles pseudo-equality publishers try to achieve with street dates for physical games and unflexible releases with digital content.


With digital, it´s a finished product, there is no shipping, there is no manufacturing, release it as soon as it is done, why would you bind it to a specific time of date in the future.

I half agree with this. They say approximately, but if they had a more exact time as well as the UTC for whatever time zone they are referring to, I think that would be good.

On the other hand just be patent, it will come.

No there isn't I don't think that would work with GOG's DRM free policy, not only that,but I don't think a preloaded is a good idea, since you'll probably have to download it again just to patch it.

now it's 5PM at my country, plus there is no preload (well, it's not possible), i must wait until game will be released later today (i hope) and then i must wait to download and install it. i will not be able to play it until 27th of september evening because i work. i'm not happy with this. also if we are really waiting for USA time, that is really sad. there is whole world out there, not only USA

EDIT: FINALLY!

EDIT 2: great, now game files are removed and my download stopped. how is this possible??
