So I was looking at the recommended specs yesterday and the GPU that was listed (at least on the NVIDIA side since that's what I'm running, sorry ATI folks, I wasn't paying that much attention), and the listing showed the GTX 970 as the requirement. Okay, cool, great, fair enough. But I looked today and now it's listing a GTX 660 as the recommended GPU? But for some reason when I looked on the Steam page and checked the recommended specs there, it still showed the GTX 970.

Is this change on the GOG page a reflection of a patch that I can't seem to find the notes on or is it simply a glitch on the GOG store page? If that card does end up being the new recommended, then it's going to save me quite a bit of money in the short term, that's for sure.

A 660 seem a bit low for recommended imo.
On my 7970 which is at least 40% faster I run the game at mostly low/medium settings in 1080p to avoid going under 60fps. That card was recommended on amd/ati side last I checked.
Oddly, they've lowered the min' memory from 8 back to 4gig too.
(I have 4, can confirm, works fine so far)

I wonder because I was testing it out yesterday, albeit for a short amount of time, with my GTX 960 and it was having quite a bit of stuttering. So maybe there was a patch and this will be fixed? Guess I'll know when I get home, but I'd still like to have some confirmation regarding why the change was made on the spec sheet.

Hi there,

I'll have to double check the system requirements as I believe those may not be the right ones. Sorry for the hassle if I do have to change them.

edit: yes those system requirements you saw earlier were not the right ones. Not sure what happened there but if you bought the game before they were changed and the game is not working for you, please contact our Support department for a refund :)

I pre-ordered this puppy, so I'm not going to return it. Just determines what I end up buying to put in my rig. *rubs hands together* Off to Amazon and Newegg I go.
I have an i5, a 770GTX and 8Gb, and the game run perfectly with everything at max.

The only problem I had was in the "Chef" quest, when entering the "cave" thing, I had huge stutterings, and when I've checked, all my RAM was full, this has made me thinking of a memory leak bug. (I was playing for 4 hours straight)
