Hi, I think the game is great fun, but reaching near the end of chapter 12 (poison gas rooms) my saves can't be loaded
again so if I die I have to go way back to a save that will load (still in ch.12 poison gas rooms). I've reached very close to the chapter's end where I've taken off gasmask. I've made several saves to get here but they won't load!

Is this a bug, anyone had same problem? I have the patch installed, I play on Normal on a Win7 64bit 16GB RAM.
This is so annoying since I'd love to get on to the next chapter and try to finish the game. Any suggetions are welcome!

Seems like other people have issues at other parts of the game, not being able to load their saves.

It might be due to that part of the game being resource heavy, and as a result saves don't quite work correctly. I'm not sure if there's a way around the problem, other than beating that section and saving when you reach the next chapter. Good luck!

Hi, thanks for answering and links. I'll check them out, and I've already learned that people have this problem at different stages. Maybe you're right I'll have to beat it in one sweap. Got to be ready with best weapons and be quick with that healing Peacock's Blessing for the end fight then :) .....Thanks.
