No Music plays with the GOG version, although GOG claims the music is included. Is there some trick with DOSBOX you need to do to get the CD music to play?
I am running it on a XP system.
That's very strange... I have music in the game, so it's certainly not an issue with the installer or default config. You can indeed try playing around with the sound settings (there's a Settings link in the Shadow Warrior Complete start menu group), but I guess they are configured correctly.
Problem Solved. Someone PM ed that they had the same problem, but they noticied that when downloading last night, the GOG downloader was acting funny;it would go up to 190 MB downloaded then go back to 180, then up to 200. The person deleted the install program, redownloaded it ,and no problems. I did the same and now the game works fine with the CD music
. Apparently the GOG download system went wonky last night and messed up the files.
I noticed that a number of people have had download problems with a number of games since GOG released the last update of the GOG Downloader. What is up with GOG that they can't seem to make a stable and reliable downloader?
Not getting any music in Twin Dragon, though.

Launch Twin Dragon and go to sound options in main menu, check if music is turned on.
*feeling incredibly dumb*

Thank you. Twin Dragon does not use the same settings as the standard Shadow Warrior unlike Wanton Destruction, I didn't expect it to be turned off, at all.

EDIT:

Interestingly, it turns itself off everytime I open the game again. In the .cfg file (the one in the dragon folder), it appears off (MusicOn = 0). Changing it to 1 does not work. It only works when turning it on in game, and only stays for that session.

Twin Dragon alters some files and uses it's own .exe that mess even with different music intro in main menu that's why but beyond that it's more stable than original game.

If someone keeps getting freeze screen and the game quits I suggest you should increase memsize from 32 to 64 in dosbox_swarrior.conf like Blood because sometimes it eats memory pretty fast when too much happens on screen.

Another interesting fact is if you save after killing last boss timer to cutscene with ending wont start after reloading the game so if you want see if repeatably later save when boss health is still on red.
