SW2 requires Galaxy for multiplayer. There is no Galaxy for Linux. Dev & publisher probably don't want to release a crippled version of the game for one OS. So no Galaxy, no Linux version of SW2 on GOG. Once again, people will have to look elsewhere to buy the game.

Just a thought. That is how I think it will go. I think we've witnessed this exact thing before.

I am just preparing myself to be massively disappointed once again, so maybe it will hurt less.

And if things go the way I predict they would, I might finally give in and start shopping on Steam. :(

I would argue greater than half the time the devs/pubs don't want to create/manage an additional build being their reason.
