So I have a Thinkpad X230 - Will the SW2 run on it?
I don't mean - "Will be it be super silky smooth?" - I'm just wondering if it will *run* at all.

The rise of the triad remake runs quite well on here, and even Earth Defence Force 4.1 run playable if I drop the res down to 1280x720. Of course 'playable' is coming from me who, for a while, used to play Quake 1 on a 486 in a tiny tiny window...

Without a added video card it is a pretty clear no.
Intel hd4000 can get pixels on your screen but not much more. You'd want 100x the processing power to play the game at a decent level.

Other than that the game should not be too bad off on that hardware, as I seen people play it fine with only 4gb of ram.

//oops added one zero too much, 10x! Still 10 or 100 don't really matter much.

Thanks for the reply.

I guess I'm hoping someone else has tried it and can report back!

I wish there was a demo so I could test it without resorting to piracy. I suspect the GoG returns policy doesn't cover testing whether a game will work on your underspec rig!
