I've owned a retail copy of Shadow Warrior for years and never actually installed it until seeing it here on GOG. I'm using the Proasm SWP port to run it. I have read through all of these forums on the game and have yet to see any mention of the problem I'm experiencing. The game runs flawlessly, with all the audio and sounds, but after I watched some gameplay videos on Youtube I noticed that when using the sword on the enemy, they are sliced and gradually fall apart. This is not the case with me. When I slice an enemy with the sword he just kind of explodes on the spot. Is this right? All the videos I saw showed dissection. Not exploding bodies. Is it different on Dosbox?

It just looks so much cooler in the videos with the actual slicing.

Go into options --> Game Options --> more.... --> then disable: Ninja Slice Hack
Thank you ! I was wondering what that was for. Definately better this way.
Weird, my game had slicing by default as soon as I installed it. Exploding enemies with the sword sound pretty cool though, I must admit.
At one time Walmart sold a "Special Edition" version of Shadow Warrior; an expurgated version ROFL.
