How to play cooperative via internet? It saying No Network Found or Galaxy Connection ! WTF?

I'm having this same issue. I clearly have an internet connection, but receive this error each time.

Edit: So I think I "may" have something, at least for me. My wife was on my account playing the game as well, but she launched it before me. The GoG Galaxy overlay doesn't work, and has not ever worked, for me. Since this game requires the GoG Galaxy client to play I'm assuming the game cannot detect that GoG Galaxy is running on my PC. Unfortunately, troubleshooting this issue has been fruitless. I've purchased the game on Steam for myself to see if the issue carries over to the Steam version for me. I've read there are minute problems when trying to play with Steam/GoG crossplay, but it does work.
