Hi,

enjoying the game so far. Just noticed some things to improve on.

Bugs:

- In the second map there is a patch of green climbing plant, where you can climb up, but cannot climb down. This is close to the officer and the ox at the river, where the tutorial tells you to throw a stone
- In the second map there is a translation mistake for the German language. On the objective screen where the six officers are listed, it says "(0 of 4)" but it should "(0 von 4)".
- in the third map the achievement "don't destroy the towers" is awared even if you destroy the towers
- in the twelveth map the red wagon gets stuck and doesn't move anymore, if you kill the guard he is talking to about the road block ahead. don't think this is intended

Recommendations and other things:

- Why is Mugen not making any sound if he is running? He is wearing a very heavy armor, he should be clearly hearable for everyone around. I can understand that the Ninja or the small kid doesn't make any sound, but Mugen?
- Throwing bodies with Mugen should also create a sound
- The second map should have a hidden objective: "don't kill anyone except for the officers". Was disappointed, when I finished the misson only killing the 4 officers and didn't get any badge
- On the title screen there is "press key to start" message. What is the message for, why not display the menu in the first place?
- The "use-key" in the game is quite inconsistent, you can click on for example "doors" and "hooks" directly to use them, but when you click on a tutorial scroll you have to hold the "use-key"? This applies also to other examples.
- Next time you make a game please don't write 65.000+ files to the hard disk. Instead package some files together in bigger archive files, This puts less stress on the hard disk, doesn't waste thousands of file handles and the installation would be much quicker.

Thanks :)

I haven't begun playing yet but I highly agree with this, it's very annoying.
Everything works just fine for me, except I get no audio. This is the output:

$ ./start.sh
Running Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun
Set current directory to /home/ivan/GOG Games/Shadow Tactics Blades of the Shogun/game
Found path: /home/ivan/GOG Games/Shadow Tactics Blades of the Shogun/game/Shadow Tactics
Mono path[0] = '/home/ivan/GOG Games/Shadow Tactics Blades of the Shogun/game/Shadow Tactics_Data/Managed'
Mono path[1] = '/home/ivan/GOG Games/Shadow Tactics Blades of the Shogun/game/Shadow Tactics_Data/Mono'
Mono config path = '/home/ivan/GOG Games/Shadow Tactics Blades of the Shogun/game/Shadow Tactics_Data/Mono/etc'
displaymanager : xrandr version warning. 1.5
client has 4 screens
displaymanager screen (0)(DP-4): 3840 x 2160
Using libudev for joystick management

Importing game controller configs

This is the third or fourth game I get no audio from. And they are all mono-based games.

Please, for your future games, do not use .net/mono.

EDIT:
Found the problem -- missing 32bit libpulse-simple.so

I second the idea of making installation faster, this game is only 5 gb, I've installed larger games in less than a quater of the time it has taken to install this one. I haven't even played yet as it's still installing for a good 30 mins.
ok so i just finished installing the game, and had gone through the whole start up and was about to hit contine to actually play the first level, but than my comp froze on me. After a hard reboot, the game only shows me the curser and a black screen no music nothing. sometimes the curser will look like the ingame one other times its the default windows one. What do i do.

I think it is best if you start a new topic for your technical support (and check the 'help me' box on it). This topic was started to report bugs but this is a bit too vague to take as a bug report. You can also look at the Steam community discussions to see if one of the bugs is similar to your situation. I would guess that it saved a bad "gameState.save" but I am not sure if that is the case.

You have to delete your save game folder and restart. With v 1.2 we are handling corrupt save-files in a much better way, sorry for the annoyance.

This is a choice of the Unity devs and believe us, we hate it much, much more than you guys. Long build times, long copy times, long zip times. Super annoying. But there's absolutely nothing we can do about it ... and yes, we've complained about that with Unity for more than a year ... :(

Did you at least get an explanation why they have it like that?

I had the same problem and it is caused because mono requires pulseaudio. so make sure to have pulseaudio installed and configured correctly. If I disable my audio device with pulseaudio I also get no sound.

i _think_ this is because the game is effectively waiting to see if you want to use a joypad or keyboard/mouse at this point. That said, it swaps fairly seemlessly in game if you hit a button on a controller and then move the mouse.

In the mission in the bathhouse whenever they found a dead body and the alarm was raised the guy you were supposed to kidnap vanishes inside the house and doesn't seem to ever come out again (at least for the 15 minutes I waited) - making it impossible to win the mission. And the game doesn't tell you that so my three quicksaves were useless because I noticed too late that I couldn't get to the guy anymore. That was VERY annoying!

Otherwise, this isn't really a bug, but for an addon or so, it would be interesting if one or two charas would have a limited amount of ropes instead of bandages to tie up civillians when no house is around. Since I don't WANT to kill civillians (possible achievement?), this would be a way to implement "kill no civillians"-missions.
I think when you make a sequel (in future) - it would be fine to add talking to civilians using disguise - getting information, spreading rumors, etc.
In the mission with saving Mugen - there is annoying bug: Mugen can't stop thanking for saving.
(whaty I did: secured his armour&weapon then saved Mugen)

It's what i hate about Unity engine - all it's benefits are cost annoyance and inconvinience to end-users (players). I'll never buy any unity-based game again.
За это вот я и ненавижу Юнити, все его преимущества - за счет неудобств конечного пользователя.
