Shadow Man will not launch, I just get an error.
kexPlatformApp::Failedto initialize window for Vulkan(Failed loading vulkan-dll: The specified module could not be found.
Restarted computer , reinstalled video driver , uninstalled shadowman reinstalled , uninstalled gog galaxy reinstalled ran anti spyware and virus programs. Reinstalled with firewall off still not working.

Make sure that your Videocard can even handel Vulkan.
Otherwise a dll error has nothing to do with anything else you tryed.

Go to your Windows/User/(your userprofile)\Saved Games\Nightdive Studios\Shadowman EX
Open Kexengine.cfg with Notepad or better Notepad++.
Scroll to row 124 or search for seta r_rhirenderfamily and cange it to "d3d11".

Open Kexengine.cfg with Notepad or better Notepad++.
Scroll to row 124 or search for seta r_rhirenderfamily and cange it to "d3d11".
Thank you for the reply , I wouldn't think it would be the video card , Ive played the game all the way through twice , I found the folder for Shadowman EX but the Kexengine.cfg file is not there. Ive reinstalled several times and also intalled on new system , same result.

I would guess that the only thing created in that folder is stderr.txt and stdout.txt?
If you have min requirements like I do(at least)..I don´t have Vulkan compatibility.
But the min requirements say:Vulkan or DirectX 10(11 on Steam)
Contact support..I did..I got version 3.14 which works fine..
But the new patch does not..
If not anything else,then refund..

Just updated my video card to radeon rx 580 , video game is working again.
