What am I supposed to do? Where am I supposed to go?
I've done almost everything I can think of there now. I killed one of those huge things and took its dark soul.
Now what?

There is a quest item in the Undercity – a retractor. It's in one of the propeller rooms (second, I think), if you follow a path reached by jumping onto the blade of the lowest propeller and into a hole in the wall as it turns. The layout of the level is confusing because of similar rooms.

That's the thing also. I've started a propeller in one room but I can't get to it.
It's always above me or sealed off. You have a save or something I could borrow? Don't know how many hours I spent down there. Feels more than the whole game so far.

In the first propeller room, right after you activate the rotor using your Engineer's Key, just keep jumping up. Try first jumping onto the computer console just up the ramp to reach the first ledge and then as much upwards as you can get. There should be more ledges ahead that will enable that. You should have no trouble reaching the blade. As for the second set of propellers, the procedure is just about the same.

Oh haha, I tried that for shits and giggles, and I had no idea that was the right thing to do as I fell down for not trying too hard. Thanks alot, I know how to proceed now. :)

You're welcome!

The aim is to reach a room that looks like a church (kind of like the Cathedral of Pain), and the retractor will be on the altar in it. You probably already know what the retractors are for...

Speaking of which. While we speak, do you know how to access the room in the prison where Lizard King reside?

If you're already inside the basement, you're probably missing the second keycard. It's somewhat hard to find, being in a small security kiosk near the prison chapel, I think.
