Hi;

I just bought this, but when I launch it through Galaxy, it launches Oculus Home and adds it to the library there. And the audio for the game then defaults to my Rift.

I've tried removing it from my Oculus Home library, but as soon as I launch the game again, it relaunches Oculus Home and re-adds itself to the library there again, once more using that as the audio output.

Pretty damn frustrating, especially when the game doesn't even support the Rift. Yes, I have popped the headset on when the game launches, and no, there is no video signal in the Rift.

I've also tried launching the game from the installation directory, and it still launches Oculus Home from there and runs the audio through the Rift headphones.

Edit: I've also just tested some other games, and they don't launch Home, so this is definitely a problem with Seven.

Great, now it's completely broken.

While troubleshooting the game, I tried uninstalling Galaxy and running Seven without it.
Unfortunately, it still launched Oculus Home, but in addition it now also black-screened on launch. And when I force-closed it, I was presented with a "Fatal error!" dialogue box.

So I downloaded Galaxy again and ran a repair on Seven, but the same thing happened again once the repair was complete.

At this point, I uninstalled Seven and all associated files, then tried downloading it again.
Unfortunately, the problem persisted. As well as launching Oculus Home, the game crashes on launch. I haven't played a single minute of this game yet, and am increasingly considering asking for a refund.
Okay, found a thread on the Steam forum for the game that says the developers are aware of the bug.
Wonder if they'll fix the fatal error I get whenever I launch the game now.
Hi Mungrul,

Are you able to run the game properly now?

Take care,
