See screenshot for clarity, attached.

the arrows on keyboard move the item selection highlight up and down but nothing seems to activate, even escaping to dos. Setting Win95 compatibility did not help.

Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you fix it?

Please help me before my smallpox infested blankets lose their toxicity. God save Lord Jeffery Amherst!

;-) The game uses a non-standard conform interface, like some other very old games. Instead of Enter you have to press Control (no matter whether Right or Left Ctrl) to select a menu item. I was a bit puzzled myself when I started the game for the first time.
