Downloaded the maps folder, quite a few in there. But am I missing something? Not one of them has a key or even a title to know what it is a map of?

wow! over 3 years later and i was just going to ask the same question.

it seems like there should be a readme file that says what each file is a map of
Looks like the publisher just put them up on the ftp for the employees at gog.com to download, and they didn't label them. Like a "as-is" folder with the maps.
If you look to the names of the maps you see that they have different numbers. And if you look closely you see that the first number refers to a shell. So map LA107 for example refers the 1 to the first shell.
