The achievement never unlocks when you see the watch tower title card sequence.
I tried both watching the whole cinematic and skipping. I've done it from new game 3 times.

The achievement metrics also show no one has unlocked it.

I contacted both the developer and gog.

GOG unlocked the achievement on my account and the developer have seen the post and have confirmed the issue exists.

A new update was pushed (1.1.0.12).
I can't confirm if it fixes the issue myself, if anyone unlocks the achievement on this version, please let me know!

With today's 1.1.0.13 patch, it now works.
