When they release a patch for the game on STEAM, it takes them too long to publish it on Galaxy. I wouldn't be surprised if at some point in development they stop updating the game on this platform.

That's not true. The game has been updated a handful of times. If you check the change logs on GOG DB, you can clearly see a new build being added on October 28, 2024. True it doesn't update as often as the Steam version, but at least it still gets updated.
