There is a supermod for the Sea Dogs: Caribean Tales as GOG calls it or Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales as it appears on other sites. You can pick it up from here:

It seems that some texts are missing from several screens after installing the mod most notably in the capture ship screen.
Is there any workaround to this issue?

I've found a possible solution for my issue.
I copy everything from the mod folder except ransack_main.c file located in program\interface\.
Now I can see the text in capture ship screen (ransack screen).

Will keep an eye for any problem for this.
