It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I'm playing the first Sea Dogs on Mac OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan in Wineskin. The current video driver (DirectDraw HAL) and operating system causes the graphics to flicker uncontrollably. I'm trying to change the video render to something that works better, but I don't know how to do that. No matter where I stick video drivers for OpenGL, etc., I'm not able to switch to another video mode. What directory do I put the video drivers?

And no, switching to "ddr=gdi" in Winetricks doesn't help. The game won't even open in that mode. Whenever I try it, I get an error message that says "One or more of the parameters passed to the method are incorrect".

EDIT: Never mind. I installed a wrapper from Porting Kit. Now the game runs fine.
