Hi all,

I have a logitech driving force GT. It works with all the other racing games I got off gog (for instance, the two flat outs & grid).

Is there any trick to getting the screamer games to work with a steering wheel?

Thanks,
Rob

I don't know about 4x4 but because its the newer game it should be possible.
For Screamer 1 and 2 you need to calibrate the wheel in the setup program but before you do that you need to do the following:

Open the Windows gamecontroller panel, go to advanced and make sure the DFGT is the preferred device.
Now open Logitech Profiler and make a profile for the Dosbox.exe, both for Screamer 1 and 2.
From here on it becomes a bit of a grey area for me as I sold my DFGT over a year ago.
In the profiler settings you need to mark the combined axis checkbox and for the amount of rotation you will need 240 degrees and probably less, maybe even less than 180 degrees.
Now open the Screamer setup program and calibrate the wheel and pedals.

If the calibration is too eratic try editing the .conf file in the Screamer folder.

[joystick]
joysticktype=auto
timed=false
autofire=false
swap34=false
buttonwrap=false
What Strijkbout said is correct, although i only change two settings in the conf file being joysticktype=auto to 4axis & timed=true to false.
I also used logitech lgs510 software as well, combined pedals.

Im still testing other games so ill update as i know more.
