Hey Everyone,

I finally got around to completing Scratches, and I have to say I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The ending was a bit odd in my opinion, but I am not going to go into that.

I was a little bit more disappointed with the "Last Visit" chapter, and that is what I was hoping to discuss here. I am trying to figure out the point behinds its inclusion. Compared to the original game, it certainly was very restrictive in its atmosphere; I did not feel that it really expanded on the story in any meaningful way. After the 25 minutes I spent on it, I felt really did not do much for me. Did any of you feel the same way about this?

Looking forward to reading any thoughts you have on it!
Just finished it: I agree it probably didn't need to exist. It spells out certain things for you... but not the ones that needed spelling out I think. Except the thalidomide, which explains the deformities. And the cutscenes with the kid don't look very good compared to the rest of the game, so I think more scenes with him was the last thing the game needed.
