This game looks great and could not wait to play it. By the way have down loaded it from Gog and Steam and same issues.
First the mouse goes too fast but as someone previously has said, move it millimetre by millimetre. And everytime I play it , it crashes not that long into it. But the most annoying thing is the mouse pointer/hand will be pointing at the wrong item ie. hand appears on ceiling when you click it it opens a draw on other side of room.
I am playing on a laptop with Windows 8 have no tech knowledge at all, please has anyone else had this problem?

Set alternate control to disabled and slideshow mode off in the setup menu, then adjust mouse speed for your liking.

hi, thanks for reply. the altered mouse setting made no difference but by going slowly and remembering where the mishits were I managed to finish the game. loved it, scared me stiff but like so many others the ending let it down. The monstrous man not that deformed, a bit of an insult to thalidomide children and what happened about the mask?
