I do everything advised, like first thing to enter house and unpack typewriter, click on it every now and then, but i neither get the "I am not Michael Arthate" entry, nor the ability to choose a dialogue line, when speaking to the former police chief (walkthrough says you need to pick line 2 and line 2 when you can choose).

In the retail version of Scratches Director Cut, you could download the patch, which made getting the alternate ending easier. But GoG version is NOT compatible with that patch anyway.

Has anyone here accessed the second ending, from the GoG version of the game???
