My girlfriend just got this game as she is a huge fan of Horror, and an even larger fan of Hidden Object games. For some odd reason, her game just constantly flickers like something is trying to come up over the top of it or something, makes it really laggy. I'd like to try and make it window mode, but no idea how, as -w and SHIFT+ENTER don't work. The game seems to work perfectly on my computer.

For Windowed Mode navigate to

C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Roaming\Nucleosys\Scratches Director's Cut

and find the file

scream.cfg

Open that file with Wordpad and edit the line

FULLSCREEN 1

to

FULLSCREEN 0

and then save the file.

If you can't find the AppData folder go into folder options and mark the option "Show hidden files, folders and drives"
