Hi,

I am experiencing an issue when trying to use ALT + right click to assassinate enemies. As soon as I hold down ALT, the game freezes and becomes completely unresponsive.

Strangely, this isn't an issue when using the 'Shift + ALT + click' combination to force actions.

I thought the easiest way to get around this would be to re-map the assassinate command to a different key combination, but it doesn't appear to be in the controls list.

Is there any way to change this to use a different key?

Thanks!

I would like this as well. Also because Alt, in many window managers on linux, is used to drag and resize windows. I couldn't assassinate the first guy for this reason.

Just to add to this:

I initially thought this was related to me running Ubuntu - with the ALT key usually bringing up the 'hud' interface - but I have already changed this so ALT is no longer assigned to do anything (as far as I can tell).

The problem persists! Alas!
I'm using Linux (OpenSUSE/KDE) and have problems with the ALT as well. It should definitely be remappable.
See here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/228773/how-can-i-turn-off-alt-right-mouse-button-function-in-12-10

The solution for Compiz worked for me. Unity in Ubuntu also uses Compiz but it is hidden away. For that install the CCSM program and use that to change the setting.

Edit: I'm on Arch Linux with Xfce/Compiz.

More a workaround. For window managers lacking control over shortcuts, xmodmap could work (haven't tried):

xmodmap -e "keycode 64 = "
(assuming 64 is Alt_L)

But then you can't use shortcuts using it, such alt-tab. I think a proper fix is necessary.

You unmap ALT+ whatever in the controls page in the options :)

The first column of keys are modifiers, such as ALT, and you can click the X next to it to remove it, or map something else.

I hope that helps.
