Has anyone tried this game on Windows 8? As we all know, it becomes unplayable on XP and I was considering switching...

Late response but I imagine others might come to the forum wondering about this. Been playing it using Windows 8 Professional 64bit, no issues what so ever and haven't even needed to use compatibility mode. And just want to put it out there that I really enjoy using Windows 8.

Well, here's another response! I confirm the game works fine on Windows 8 (8.1, precisely)! And as ricochetguro I really like this OS too, partly for all 2D games like this one which are by far easier to run than before.
