I saw a post below that said it ran okay on a 32-bit system. Any word on 64-bit compatibility? Thanks!
i run it on win7 64bit seems to work fine i only played it for 5 minutes
I've completed it on my win7 64bit machine. It crashed once on the second level but after reloading back into the game it didn't crash again.
I'm currently playing it. No problems so far.
I've just passed the first section and it's running like a dream, although I had to start it under Run As Administrator.
Man, this game is just as good as I remember too.
No problems running it.

GoG did a great job making the games compatible.

Although many old windows games still run well on new systems even without tweaking (I own the retail version of Planescape Torment and it runs fine on Win7 - 64). That's just good programming :)
it crashed immediately the first time I started it, after the first cutscene the second time, going to try compatibility mode or something

works fine after reinstall

I am playing it now on Win 7 64bit and I get some random crashes sometimes. I am in Chapter 4 now, and it crashed about 5 times now.

I played through the whole game in one 6-hour sitting this past weekend.. absolutely no issues at all on my Win7 x64 desktop. No crashes, no glitches.. everything just worked.
I was having trouble getting it to run also, so what I did was set

dxwnd_gog.exe
sntrm.exe
start.exe

to Compatibility Mode Windows XP SP3 and to "Run as Administrator "

I also, (for good measure) copied the d3dhook.dll from the other thread where they talk about using d3dwindower, to the game install folder.

Now I can run the game from the shortcut that Gog made, and have it in full screen, non-windowed on my 1650x1080 monitor.
No problems here, no compatibility modes used.
Now on level 3, using the straight GOG installation (but not to the default location).
Went through the whole game on Windows 7 with 64 bit. I think it crashed only one time after using ALT+TAB a lot (which happens with many games). Performance, colors and sound were perfectly normal.
