Not sure why or how this is happening, but when I load up the game I just can't interact with it. I can't skip the intro cut scene or select any of the selections in the main menu. The mouse moves and highlights the selections, but when I click nothing happens. I've already tried everything gog recommends on its support page. Please if I can get some assistance that would be great!

Looks like the input devices aren't properly locked to the application.
Try Alt-Tab to get out of the game and then click the game on the taskbar to jump back in again.
Or hit the Windows-key and then select the game on the taskbar to get back in.
And as a third alternative, open the Task Manager after you've started the game by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del, select the game on the Applications tab and click "Switch to".
Hopefully this binds the controls properly to the running game.

Do you have a special keyboard or mouse setup on your system? Any 3rd party utilities?

This is the first time something like this has ever happened to me for any game. All I have is just a standard mouse, keyboard, and a single monitor. I don't have any special equipment set up. I've tried pretty much everything thing I can think of: resolutions, driver updates, checking direct x, reinstalling, etc.

Try installing it to different location. Also, don't forget to restart your PC. ;)
