We do not have permissin to write to a speciffic place on the disk or file missing. Try to uninstall and reinstall the program

I tried to
repair/verify the game
Uninstall and re-install the game

Now im at excatly at the same point, as the first time, any idea what to do ?

Kind regards,

Try setting the game's executable to run as administrator.

Is it possible to launch the game with this setting through GOG Galaxy?

I'm not sure, because I don't use Galaxy.

Anyway that error should not occur: if you installed the game into a directory with restricted access (such as "Program Files" or similar), you should reinstall it outside there.

Well I have finised the game which is good btw. Had to play it not through Galaxy though. I think it might work if you set parametrs to launch it as admin via terminal(you can do it in Galaxy) but i was lazy for it.

I had the same problem, and run the game as administrator fixed that.
Thx for the tip
5 years later than the original poster I have the same problem.

I downloaded and installed the game with GOG Galaxy.

However regardless if I first start GOG Galaxy and start the game from there, or try to start the game from the desktop shortcut, it only plays the intro movie and the stops with the no access error that I attached as a picture.

Should not the game be adjusted to be startable from within GOG Galaxy in those years without fiddling by the player to get it to work?

just launch the game (.exe file from the folder) as administrator.
