Philapio: How many peanuts they throwing at you for positive shilling?

Vainamoinen: 30 silver coins for betraying my fellow gamer folks, standard illuminati lizardman Bilderberger rate that all the positive reviewers for any game the developers of which you don't like have been getting for years. Join us! I'm sure Skunkape has a place for you what with your compulsive regurgitating of obvious lies, limited skills in your own native language and tendency to have your reviews deleted the eff out of for right wing fringe political crap. I hear that counts as 'authentic gamer' nowadays.

Philapio: The remasters are ugly and low effort
avatar
Vainamoinen: Ahhh here we go, so they're ugly now too? Strange how none of the 94 reviews on Steam (not even the two negative ones) seem to see it your unique way. So, that claim's also not going to stick is it? What's our tally then, let me see.

You wrote that Skunkape didn't originally write or develop those games. They did.
You wrote that "all the jokes have been sterilized or removed". That's wildly incorrect.
You said the devs tried to "delete" the original versions of the games. That was a lie.
You suggested that people should pirate games from this developer. That's illegal.
You seem to think the Remasters didn't sell well. I happen to know you're wrong.
You claimed that the Remasters are "ugly" and "low effort". No one else thinks that.

I really do not give a rat's ass about what a compulsive liar draws from his own behind next.

Philapio: They still have a diversity hire street urchin voicing Bosco when it SHOULD be Joey Camen.
avatar
Vainamoinen: Oh look, you've learned the name of the voice actor by reading my stuff! That's great. See how far a little research is going? "Diversity hire street urchin" still is fucking racist as fucketyfuck and fucked up too. You should be banned from the internet for at least 40 years.

avatar
Philapio: There's no chance these woke SJWs will be allowed to write an ORIGINAL script for Sam & Max.
avatar
Vainamoinen: Welcome to this millennium. They wrote sixteen scripts and three Seasons already.
Skunkape did not write the original games. The writers for Sam and Max were:
Brendan Q. Ferguson
Dave Grossman
Steve Purcell
Jeff Lester
Chuck Jordan
Heather Logas

Only person here who is involved with the remaster is the creator, Steve Purcell, and they went behind his back to censor it for thin-skinned worthless crybabies

All the jokes WERE sterilized and censored. That is an objective truth.

The devs went out of their way to remove the OG versions from storefronts when the remasters failed to sell

Piracy is fine when hack political activists (aka Skunkape) commit the moral sin of censoring art. Morality is more important then the law. Go work at Activision if you disagree, you'd fit right in.

The remasters are extremely ugly. They use a generic low budget lighting engine like a teenager's first unity project.

You should be exiled from whatever country you reside in for cultural subversion. That's what the crime of changing art is called.

also LMAO figures you're one of THOSE that thinks that nobody is allowed to dislike ANYTHING someone of *that* color does. Don't you have a Portland riot to attend? Hopefully you're the next person to chase an armed teenager with a skateboard :)

Oogie Boogie's a genuinely garbage voice actor. This is why he has no roles outside of reperation handouts, like this game.

the members of Skunkape have never written an original Sam and Max game in their entire careers. And they never will thanks to how badly these remastered flopped.

GET WOKE GO BROKE.

You conspiracy nuts and your "objective truths".

Certainly you will be able to name one single joke in Season 2 that was censored.

Checkmate, I guess. "All the jokes were censored" dude not able to name a joke that was censored. Seen it.

Not going to lie, I was hoping he'd repost the link from the at the time "most helpful" review. Which leads to a thread on the Steam forums that was locked 10 months ago, so it doesn't have any info on a game that came out last month. Not even the dishonest crap of hyperventilating culture warlords.

Lies, lies and further lies.

Doesn't matter lol. The games flopped so hard that they won't ever have a chance to make an original Sam and Max games. Skunkape is going out of business as soon at the third season comes out and flops even harder then season 2.

Philapio: Doesn't matter lol.
The issue here is your consistent dishonesty and hyperbolic lies. To repeat, you claimed that all the jokes were censored in Season 2, I asked you to name a single line of dialog that was censored, you couldn't, because all you have on your hands is runny shit. And all you can do is turn up again, not answer anything because "LOL", but hey, you have more runny shit in your hands that you just squeezed out for us to enjoy.

Season 2 of Sam & Max was not censored, not even a little bit, and you got your reviews deleted several times for lying to GOG's customers. The Remaster of Season 3 was funded when the Remaster of Season 1 came out, and Season 2 just raked in a whole lot of bonus cash, especially those sweet Switch versions, my god. Skunkape can not go "out of business" for the simple reason that it has no permanent personnel or other running costs. Really really sorry to disappoint you there. The company Skunkape itself will, much as e. g. Campo Santo, continue to exist to manage the massive sales of these three Sam & Max Remasters.

You have, as always, chosen not to research matters, and one day you'll have to understand that this makes you look pathetic in any discussion. The frantic shifting of the goal posts, of course, is an additional laughing matter.

Now go and put some lotion on that backside of yours, kid.

Most of all, I think Skunkape hurt the first release by the way they dealt with the changes. It felt dishonest and they had to update the FAQ to explain that they didn't change anything "important". They didn't repeat that mistake.

I don't feel it was necessary but changing a handful of lines wouldn't stop me from buying it. Some people obviously exaggerate the situation. Skunkape did an excellent job updating the graphics and as far as I know, the audio is better and the interface is fine (unlike the sad remake of "The Secret of Monkey Island").

There are many games with voice acting that I think are fantastic. I don't know the names of any of the actors and I don't care. All I want is to play the game with improved visuals and enjoy the original story and performances (like the amazing "Day of the Tentacle" remake!). I just don't like the change in Bosco's voice and I don't see any reason to have re-recorded it. I won't enjoy the remake but that's okay. I have the originals and plenty of people enjoy the remakes.

Again, Skunkape did a great job with the improvements and if they make other games, I'll be interested.

For the people that wanted it, I'm glad the game is being released on GOG! :) I'm sure the third part will also be released here, too.

You can tell it flopped and failed to make money because of how angry you are. Angry that your woke, groomer SJW friends went broke from how hilariously badly these censored remakes sold. And Season 3 is going to sell the worst of them all LOL.

You SJW trash will never get to make a new woke season of Sam and Max, and nobody will ever give you money again. :)
So the original version of this Season, the one that Skunkape Games apparently "goes out of their way to erase", has been made available to all users of the Steam version a few weeks ago.

The GOG customers had it in their account since the day it released here, of course.

Ah well, we don't have a "Developers that treat GOG customers like first class citizens" thread or something like that, right? Bummer.
