For some reason, whenever i click on the community related stuff, my game just glitches out, and i cannot do anything except close the game. is this a known bug? is there any way to fix this?

In the GOG version of SR3, the community feature is deliberately disabled. I'm guessing it doesn't work in SR4 either, but in that case, it ought to have been disabled completely as it is in SR3.

AFAIK steam features. SR3 default gog version have it hidden IIRC; my SR4 crashed too when I clicked them out of curiosity.

I just installed the GOG version (offline installer), and there is no Community section in the menu. Did you install through Galaxy?

Yes, i did install through Galaxy. even though there is no Community option in the main menu there is still one in the character creator screen.

Indeed. Here is what happens when I click the Download option.

I don't use Galaxy, so I don't know how the game is supposed to know your SR Community login information, but it appears that the functionality is supposed to work through Galaxy somehow.

I've also installed via GOG Galaxy, and upon clicking a Community related feature the game gets stuck in a menu where I can't do anything (not even return). No crash or functionality.
Clicking on the digital manual in extras causes the same problems.
Awwww id rather like the option to link to the community if i wanted and grab some skins... thats alright, DRM free is worth it!
Yeah, I miss that feature too.

In SR3 the button is missing. SR4 freezes when you try to access the feature.

At least they should have included a offline feature to import/export skins (file based). I created some pretty nice skins back in the Steam-Days and now it's impossible to import one. The only way is through savegames, but that includes the whole game process.
Switching skin during gameplay? Not possible :(
I've contact the support by the time the game came here, and they said that would try to solve the issue (or get in contact with volition, I don't remeber). I use Galaxy, and today there was a small update, but unfortunately doesn't solve this issue yet.
