Hey.
Did someone play SR 3 over the LAN? (without hamachi, etc)
Same local network. Firewalls if switched off. There are no antiviruses.
But we can't find each other in a game lobby (LAN, "open to all" option).
Whether there are success stories?
I've successfully run a LAN game for the GoG version of SR3 before. It was back when it first came to GoG though.

I was playing SR3 over LAN last week no issues. I had a problem with SR2 over LAN, but running Galaxy Client on both machines solved that. May want to give that a try.

How did you play? I am trying and we can't find each other's game. Same settings as the OP, no firewall, etc..

It was true LAN, two computers same house. I just launched a Co-Op LAN game in the multiplayer, my friend joined. We played without Galaxy, but we have our games updated to the latest Galaxy patch.
