I apolgize if this is something commonly known, couldn't find anything.

A friend recently wanted to buy SR2 on GoG, but couldn't find it on the store. Has it been removed? When I try to get the link to the store page, it just sends me to the storefront. I got it a long time ago, so I cannot say, but I seem to remember it still being available recently.

If he's from Germany, it's no surprise. Certain titles on the BPjS list are blocked for German IPs on GOG.

The solution is to use a VPN while purchasing or having a friend from outside Germany to buy it as a gift. Simply buying and owning these games is not prevented, but viewing the store page is.
Interesting. Thank you for the swift reply, that is indeed the case. I guess I was able to get it because I got it on a free giveaway back in the day?

Could be. I have no idea if giveaways have a different ruleset or they just didn't think of them when implementing the blocks for German users.
