Currently the only way to change the language is in GoG Galaxy. I have no idea why there are installers for multiple languages if it's all controlled by Galaxy.

If you don't use GoG Galaxy then I suggest you write support and let them know you would like a non-Galaxy option to change languages.

I have the same problem with german language-installer (without/non GOG-Galaxy) and send a report to GOG-Service Germany, but the answer was:"install the german-language installer" LOL .... was that a joke?

Then i send a new message yesterday, but at the moment no answer ....

@GOG-Service: Look in the forum, everbody (without/non GOG-Galaxy) have the same problem with SR4 language-installer.

i redeemed the gog version of SR4 thanx to gog connect, but i didnt have the time yet to install it (as i recently played SR4 on my steam pc and on my xbox in the past 6 months, so.... wasnt in the mood for a new playthrough)

but between the galaxy trickery you report and the humble-support tier level of answer you got from gog support (and humble-support tier AINT a positive comment from me)

i do feel like installing it asap, si l'l try to check if, for example, .ini editing or registry tweaking can help you with the issue

i'll come back to this thread when i can to share my attempts and findings with you folks
