Hi,

I hope someone here may have an idea how to solve my problem - I have a budget gaming laptop (MSI GE70 with 650M) and when I play sacrifice it uses my integrated intel 4000. Disabling Intel graphics doesn't solve that, game uses windows basic driver (or sth like that) instead, and that doesn't work at all.

I added sacrifice in my Nvidia control panel. If I right click -> run using nvidia high performance graphics I get error saying I don't have privileges to do so.

I hope someone has an idea how to force my dedicated GPU, I can feel very annoying mouse lag when I play. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
If you have set Sacrifice with the nVidia GPU in the nVidia Control Panel, the game should use it without any additional operation (check you have clicked "Apply" before closing the panel, otherwise your change won't be saved).

Running a game with "Run this as Admin" selected prevents the "right click => run on [GPU]" thing. If you want to rely on the right-click then, uncheck "Run as Admin" in the Compatibility tab of your shortcut (Properties => Compatibility).
Thanks for your reply.

After unchecking "run as administrator" I can start it with "run using GPU" but it still uses the HD4000 - I check in system information in options menu.
I changed global settings in nVidia panel as well, but that doesn't work either :/
Ok, I'm pretty sure I ran into a similar issue with another game, but I can't remember how I solved it... There are three things I see right now though :

- change the way Optimus works: go to "Global Settings" in the panel, and change your favorite/default graphic processor to High performance nVidia, and apply. Now, apart from some cases, every application will run on the new default global setting, so, your GPU.

- or, use nVidia Inspector (it's free). Download it, locate the driver Settings option (a small button with tools next to "driver version"), search for Sacrifice in the profile list. Search for "Enable application for Optimus": if it states "Integrated", it's still using Intel. Change it to "Enable" (or try other options), and hit "Apply changes" in the top right corner, then close.

- reinstall Scacrifice, and clean your registry in the meantime?

Hope this helps!

When I had my the privilages error I fixed it by changing some UAC setting
(I can't post a link so just find a site that shows you how to change User Account Control settings manually and not with the slider )
change "User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode" to Disabled
After restarting my computer I no longer had the privilages errors when using "run with graphics processor" and everything worked fine
got the same problem, anyone know how to fix it? I just can't force game to use dedicated card.
