I grabbed D3D Windower (advertised in another thread in this forum) as a means to run Sacrifice in a Window (so it wouldn't screw up the size and shape of my other windows).

It works like a charm! . . . except for the part where it doesn't load any of the maps or campaign. The game runs, and all my pre-made characters and accounts can be accessed, but the map files appear to be lost. Attempting to run the campaign or tutorials does absolutely nothing, and attempting to host a multiplayer game or Skirmish loads an empty map list.

Does anyone know how to correct this?
Alternatively: Does anyone know how to play Sacrifice in a window without D3D or any other third-party software? Or is there a way to play in full screen mode without Sacrifice screwing up the positions of all my other windows?

Thank you for your time.

Well, step 1: Remember not to be a doof. I installed D3D to the wrong version of Sacrifice. Now that I've got it where it belongs, the maps are working again.

New problem has arrisen! Alt-Tabbing while the game is running causes it to crash when I try to bring it back to the fore. Any suggested tips to alleviate this?
