I like the game for the most part but it crashes constantly and has one of the steepest learning curves I've ever seen in a diabloesque type of game. Is there something I'm missing here?

What learning curve? All the CAs and items have help text right there on them.

Crashes, though... Well, yeah. It was pretty damn stable for me when released, but it's become a little wobbly with successive OS upgrades. I usually get a few hours between lockups on Win 8.1, so I wouldn't characterise that as "all the time". They are the most severe crashes I've ever experienced with this OS - usually requiring a reset to resolve.

It's called "download the community mod". Seriously. The game is perfect then. No crashes. Also I have no idea what you're talking about in terms of a learning curve. It's a pretty standard top down ARPG.

Oh, I beg to differ, there: it still crashes. Less frequently, granted, but... And that's when the resets have to happen.
