I'll find out in about an hour when my copy has downloaded but I doubt it - 14GB sounds like the base game to me. The texture pack is floating around online somewhere.

The elite texture pack was only delivered with the Collector Edition of Fallen Angel. I'm not sure if it works with Gold Edition since Ice & Blood expansion pack is integrated into the installation.

I do have the Sacred 2 high-res pack - and yes, it's installed.
But, seriously - I do not think it's worth running them w/ S2: Gold.
Elite Texture Pack was built for S2: FA (without Ice + Blood installed).
They didn't do Elite Textures for Ice + Blood expansion content.
I have all kinds of performance issues - stutters, game-freezes, CTD's, and other things when running this with S2: Gold.
Ain't worth running w/ S2: Gold, IMHO.

But if you can get it running better than me - please, share your tricks. :D

I don't think it's worth it either. In fact I've always had some kind of mini-stutter or stutter with this game unfortunately so I wouldn't want anything else that adds more of it.

Thanks, both of you, for pointing this all out to me. I ain't played S2: Gold in a minute - but, now, maybe I should get back to it and reinstall it.

I highly recommend the Elite Textures and there is also the most current Community Patch which fixes the CTD issue.
