Hi everyone,

Just purchased and installed roller coaster tycoon 3 platinum edition from gog but unfortunately I am having what appears to be a very common directx problem where my version of windows (8.1) won;t recognise direct x9 as being on the system, I hve run the end user file library updated thing for direct x and that did not help, i even installed the game afterwards again having removed the installation prior to update my directx library.

So yeah my direct x 9 problem was not solved the way i have found others to be solved...and I am at a loss, anyone got any ideas? thanks

I have submitted a support request also but thought I should post here incase anyone nows

Nevermind, I shouldn;t have put trust in device managers ability to tell me if I had up to date graphics drivers or not

After upgrading several versions along since my old drivers both games I have purchased that I was having trouble with are now working
