Is there some interest for a track pack with over 1900 track designs and much more? I overall mean no custom tracks but just track designs you made in-game, but I have a few custom tracks too. I also have some custom content, as these are connected to some attractions. And I also have something like 50 extra scenarios from the internet (offical extra's from Chris Sawyer, from UCES (Corrupted DAT files of UCES custom content already replaced with not-broken ones), the old RCTHolland site, RCTgo and many more) and a some custom content for in-game (like scenery and the pink water add-on from Chris.)

Is there any interest for a track pack with tracks from all over the internet? I would like to upload everything, so you can play them too :) Maybe then I could regularly update it if I found new attractions and maybe remove some things if you find bad/broken ones? Would you like this? I have the Tripple Thrill Pack on Steam, so there is no difference between the Steam and GOG track files.

I'm more interested in Roller Coaster Tycoon players that post images of their parks here at GOG with written synopsis of how they work rather than downloading additional 'track packs'.

Well, in a few days I will make a pack available with many, many track files (TD6 files, but also some Data files if they are needed for a track.) for you so you can download them too. Are there other users who could provide a lot of tracks, so I can bundle them into one pack and deliver them to you in a nice pack? When yes, could you upload them and give me the link and upload them, so I can download them again and combine them with my tracks to make it available for you all? I will also add the scenarios as a little extra :)

Depends entirely on their orgaisation, 1900 files dumped into one archive is a waste of bandwith, but if you have everything organized with creators and sources listed that page would certainly be worth a look. Looking forward to the scenarios in particular, not many of those left online that are worth playing.

For whatever you did to uces files you better contact Brad directly, he's active again, to include in the original if the changes are any good. Starting an additional package leaving it to users to figure out the differences sounds like a recipe for confusion, not to mention clearly breaks their terms of use.

Well, it's then just a pack of something around maybe 9 MB (only the TD6 files without the extra Data files you sometimes need for the extra effect. And a question: what does make the difference if you organize them by creator and source or not? Ok, it mades sure the offical makers will be happy, but I downloaded some which aren't even available anymore on the web. So, organizing them by author and source would be impossible.

Well, as the UCES website is offline, do you know how to contact him then? :)

Oh damn, I hope thats not final, hadn't seen that yet; try via rctmart.com or on nedesigns.

I must say I wasn't thinking of the creators at all when I asked for organisation, just myself and the mess such a collection would be. For example there is no tool I know of that can analyze a saved track and tell you which dat's it is decorated with (someone please prove me wrong here, I'd love to have that!), so building a bench to see the new tracks as they were meant is a daunting task at least, hunting for pieces you don't even know you need.

Creators name was just an expample, by contest they were made for would be another good info, as that would probably at least tell which bench you'd need.

I don't install random dat's and don't need more premade tracks, but ocassionally pick up a piece of either here and there expacially if its made by someone who's style I like... I'm so not your target audience for that dump :-)

But is there anyone interested in this? I could also produce three different packs: one with scenarios I have, one with DAT files and one with TD6-files? If nobody is interested, I will not work to get it ready for download.... as I'm then doing it for nothing.

Don't waste your time.

It would be a better idea for you to draw as many gamers as possible to this forum first, getting them to discuss what they like about the Roller Coaster Tycoon series than creating new content for an audience that isn't even there.

As I've written before, I am more interested in players posting up images of their parks for all to see and a brief description of how their parks work because for as long as I have been playing Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe and Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 was never able to be in contact with fans of the series... until now.

Do others think the same as HEF2011? If yes, then I won't upload these track files. So, is anyone here interested in pre-made tracks?
