Hi, I have been unable to get the non-redux "classic" version of RT to run on my 2014 MacBook Pro for a while now. The game ran just fine up until sometime earlier this year (took a hiatus from gaming due to ReaL Life), and now when I either double-click the file in Finder, or run it from GOG Galaxy, the icon appears in the dock for a second as if it is going to load, but then quits. I can't even get to the main menu.

I tried re-installing to no avail, as well. Right-clicking on the icon, selecting "Show Package Content" and drilling into /Contents/Resources/, I tried opening app.icns which opened a terminal window with this output:

xattr: No such file: game//Rogue Trooper.app/Contents/Resources/dosdevices/d:
xattr: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted: 'game//Rogue Trooper.app/Contents/Resources/dosdevices/d::'
xattr: No such file: game//Rogue Trooper.app/Contents/Resources/dosdevices/e:
xattr: No such file: game//Rogue Trooper.app/Contents/Resources/dosdevices/e::
xattr: No such file: game//Rogue Trooper.app/Contents/Resources/dosdevices/f:
xattr: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted: 'game//Rogue Trooper.app/Contents/Resources/dosdevices/f::'
xattr: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted: 'game//Rogue Trooper.app/Contents/Resources/dosdevices/z:'

My installation of RT lacks a /Contents/Resources/dosdevices/ folder, which I assume would be part of a WINE setup for the Mac version. WINE bottles I've made myself (Neverwinter Nights, etc.) do have that folder, however. Basically, it looks like the WINE configuration for RT is borked somehow.

Anyone out there experiencing the same issue? Better still, anyone out there know how to fix this issue?
Follow-up to my original inquiry: I sent the same message to GOG support and they gave me a fix for this. The problem is with a Wineskin conflict with macOS High Sierra (10.13). To fix things:

1) Right click on the Rogue Trooper application, and select "Show Package Contents."
2) Navigate to /Contents/Resources/game/Rogue Trooper/ .
3) Double click the Wineskin application.
4) Click "Set Screen Options."
5) Uncheck "Auto Detect Info for Direct3D."
6) Click Done.

Go back to the main RT application, or GOG Galaxy, and launch the game. It should now work (it did for me anyway).
