Hello!

I finally got everyone to level 30. I'll share some pointers I picked up along the way.

- You can do NG+ ad nauseum. The stats and items you start with are cumulative. What I mean is if you finish your first run at level 16, you can start a second run with NG+. If you finish your second run at level 20, you can start another NG+ at 20, and it repeats like that.

- Eating each food item once increases certain stats. This lets you increase your stats beyond what you would get at 30. However, eating the same item after starting a NG+ does not increase the associated stat again.

- The two unlockable characters are incredibly powerful.

- When shopping, food takes priority over items. Most items you can buy aren't that great, aside from the secret ones.

- The secret items from the secret shop helps. A lot. You need both of them equipped for maximum effect.

- Don't fight enemies until the game forces you to. You are better off speed running quests and bosses than you are grinding goons for the dinky XP and chump change they drop.

- You can bring weapons into other areas, except for boss zones. The secret items let you one-shot most regular goons (with weapons), which helps with locked screens. Clearing locked screens faster means you can expedite your questing/boss hunting; and by extension, increasing the XP and cash you get.

- The other characters you have will also get cash and XP, even if you haven't touched them. I cleared my first three runs with Kyoko. When I got around to playing Misako, her level was around mid-20s and had about $20K.

- Around level 20 is where the game gets easy. Regardless of what level you are, you can still die. Sometimes I get stun-locked by goons. I also died from getting careless with bosses. Even if you are playing as Kyoko, a boss is no joke-o.

- Stock up on lasagna and/or DVDs from the shop before each boss fight.

That's all I can think of for now. I'll add more later if I think of something else. When February comes I'm off to play RCG2. I hope I can find someone to play with a dinglebutt like me.
