egosumnox: So yeah thanks for your reply first...sadly nothing helped to start the game...the interesting fact is, that I installed it again and tried to repair the files again...and as before it downloaded something...148 mb every time but it doesnt help at all.
Does anybody else have an idea what to do ? Like i mean i literally dont even get to load the game...2-3 secs blackscreen and back to gog...btw risen 1 und risen 3 work perfectly fine
physx is installed....drivers are the newest possible and my pc is way better than what the game requires even if this has nothing rly to do if it starts or not xd
FlaW313: - Check the refresh rate of your screen / graphics card. The game runs best in maximum 60 fps.
- Check that - "visual microsoft C ++ 2005 redistributable (x64)" / "visual microsoft C ++ 2005 redistributable" - are installed.
- Are you launching the "RISEN 2" game in administrator mode ?

i gotta say though i was on the website you recommeded and didnt rly get what to do here
If that doesn't fix the issue, run these installers and reboot the computer afterward:

<path-to-game>\redist\VCRedist\vcredist_x86.exe
